Lauren's pumpkin pie and an Auction

Maybe we can talk her into making one for "after the auction" on New Years Day! Yes, winter is the best time for the auctions-the prices are best and the crowds are few.
New Years at the Inn, a spectacular auction in the next town at Foster's in Newcastle on New Years day!
There is much to do in Boothbay , I find it or create it.

Cross Country Skiing at Boothbay

We are getting more snow tonight, I was just out shoveling as I have guests coming in at any moment. The quiet of the snow coming down and this is the first time I have heard the foghorns since the summer nights.
I will be going out to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens which is about a bicycle ride from here for some nordic skiing tomorrow. One of my new friend innkeepers is going with me and she is a lively lady, it should be a lot of laughs.
I will be teaching skiing again, and at the Gardens will be a fantastic venue for it! I will let you know how it goes.
